Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company has extended its engagement of A STRANGE LOOP, Michael R. Jackson’s Pulitzer-Prize winning musical, directed by Stephen Brackett, choreographed by Raja Feather Kelly, music directed by Rona Siddiqui, and produced in association with Playwrights Horizons and Page 73 Productions.

Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company will present the pre-Broadway engagement of A STRANGE LOOP, Michael R. Jackson’s Pulitzer-Prize winning musical. This new musical follows a young artist at war with a host of demons — including the punishing thoughts in his head — in an attempt to capture and understand his own strange loop.

Prospect Theater Company has announced two special one-night-only concert performances of new musical theater work at NYC’s Symphony Space (2537 Broadway at 95th Street). On Tuesday, October 26 at 7:30pm the company presents REIGNITE, an evening of new songs from works-in-process by an exciting lineup of emerging and established writers.

New York Theatre Barn will host a free live stream of its award-winning New Works Series on Wednesday, May 26th, 2021 at 7PM EST, featuring excerpts from the new musicals The Loophole and The Bridge. The live 1-hour presentation will also feature a conversation with the writers.

High school theater students from the Duke Ellington School of the Arts in Washington, DC will perform their original songs alongside a slate of Broadway stars on Friday March 19 at 7pm. The concert, which is free and open to the public, is the culmination of a groundbreaking new ASCAP Foundation songwriting workshop for high school students.
