Billy Ray Cyrus Performed on AMERICA'S GOT TALENT

Billy Ray Cyrus, who was just announced as a two-time 2019 BET Hip Hop Awards nominee, will return to his roots tonight when he performs his multi-platinum-selling legendary hit, “Some Gave All,” on NBC's hit summer series “America's Got Talent” with Voices of Service, a Northern Virginia quartet comprised of active and retired U.S. veterans.

BMI to Honour Noel Gallagher at 2019 BMI London Awards

Broadcast Music, Inc.® (BMI®), announced today that Britpop icon and award-winning songwriter, Noel Gallagher, will receive the BMI President's Award at this year's BMI London Awards in recognition of his influence on songwriting within the music industry. The event will be taking place this year at London's Savoy Hotel on October 21, 2019 and will be hosted by BMI President & CEO Mike O'Neill.

Bistro and MAC Hanson Award winning vocalist,Lucille Carr-Kaffashan, returns to Don't Tell Mama this fall with her latest cabaret show, How The Light Gets In. Performances are scheduled on Friday, September 27 at 7 pm, Thursday,October 17 at 7 pm, and Sunday, October 27 at 3:30 pm. Music director Jeff Cubeta on piano and back-up vocals is joined by Sean Harkness on guitar and Matt Scharfglass on bass.

The Hanover Theatre Announces $250,000 Grant From Bank Of America

BMI Sets Revenue Records with $1.283 Billion

 BMI (Broadcast Music, Inc.) ended its fiscal year on June 30 once again breaking revenue records with $1.283 billion, up 7% over the previous year.  BMI also distributed and administered $1.196 billion to its songwriters, composers and publishers, its highest distributions ever, and a 7% or $78 million increase over last year. These results mark the most reported public performance revenues and highest royalty distributions of any music rights organization in the world.

New Season of LIVE FROM THE ARTISTS DEN Airs Sept. 16

The innovative and long-running concert series Live from the Artists Den announced their 13th season will launch the week of September 16th nationwide on public television (check local listings). The Philly POPS Little BIG Band to Give Free Performance in Malcolm X Park

The Philly POPS steps outside the concert hall for a celebration of the legendary musicians who walked the streets of West Philadelphia. A Musical Celebration of West Philadelphia features the music of John Legend and The Roots, Patti LaBelle, John Coltrane, Jill Scott, the Stylistics, Will Smith, and Boyz II Men, performed by The Philly POPS little BIG Band with guest vocalists Melanie Ashe and Jon Williams.
