CBS has ordered GAME ON!, a sports comedy entertainment series based on “A League of Their Own,” the BAFTA-winning U.K. series currently in its 14th season on Sky. The U.S. version will be hosted by Emmy and Peabody Award-winning actor, writer and producer Keegan-Michael Key, and will feature tennis champion and entrepreneur Venus Williams and New England Patriots Super Bowl champion Rob Gronkowski as team captains. Actor and comedian Bobby Lee (“Mad TV,” “Tiger Belly”) and Emmy Award-winning writer Ian Karmel (THE LATE LATE SHOW with JAMES CORDEN) will serve as comedian panelists.

The American Veterans Center's annual broadcast special in honor of Veterans Day, American Valor: A Salute to Our Heroes, will once again return to television this year. Emmy Award nominated actor/comedian and veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Rob Riggle, will reprise his role as host for the evening, paying tribute to our service men and women spanning from World War II to the present day. Nickelodeon is preparing tricks and treats with its hidden camera prank show The Substitute, this time with John Cena going undercover at the Boys & Girls Club of the Foothills in Monrovia, CA. The debut episode airs on Friday, Oct. 4, at 7:00 p.m. (ET/PT) on Nickelodeon.

Variety reports that Peter Capaldi has officially joined 'The Suicide Squad,' a DC sequel from 'Guardians of the Galaxy' director James Gunn. 'Saturday Night Live''s Pete Davidson is also reportedly in talks to join the cast.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Michael Rooker will join the Fast and Furious franchise for its upcoming ninth film.

Deadline reports that UFC fighter Francis 'The Predator' Ngannou will join the ninth installment of the Fast & Furious franchise, due out May 22.

Canosa, Zevin and Claude Dal Farra, Brice Dal Farra and Brian Keady of BCDF Pictures are producers.
