The National Theatre has announced its upcoming lineup for December 2019 - June 2020.

St. Ann's Warehouse and Good Chance present The Jungle, a Good Chance co-production with the National Theatre and the Young Vic that is back by popular demand following a completely sold-out American Premiere last season, beginning April 2, 2020. The production will then tour the U.S. in Spring / Summer 2021; details will be announced at a later date.

In 2020, St. Ann's Warehouse celebrates four decades of introducing some of the world's most innovative artists and productions to American audiences. First established at the National Landmark Church of St. Ann and the Holy Trinity (1980-2000), the organization has thrived since 2015 in its spectacular, infinitely reconfigurable permanent home on the Brooklyn Bridge Park waterfront.

Almost four years since Good Chance built its first 'Theatre of Hope' in the Calais Jungle camp and began its ground-breaking international programme of work with artists from refugee backgrounds, the award-winning charity is delighted to announce a season of programmes and performances across summer and autumn 2019 in the UK and France. Highlights include:

LAMDA (London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art) summer season 2019 will run from 29 May to 17 July at the drama school's West London campus. Directed by industry professionals, the summer season marks the final productions of LAMDA's graduating acting and technical students as they prepare to embark on their professional careers. LAMDA graduates have gone on to enjoy illustrious careers on stage, screen and behind the scenes, with alumni including Benedict Cumberbatch, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Ruth Wilson and David Oyelowo. As part of its commitment to offer local residents increased access to the dramatic arts, half price tickets are available for Hammersmith & Fulham residents.

The Drama League (Gabriel Stelian-Shanks, Executive Artistic Director) today announced the 2019 Drama League Awards Nominees for Outstanding Production of a Play, Outstanding Revival of a Play, Outstanding Production of a Musical, Outstanding Revival of a Musical, and the much-coveted Distinguished Performance Award. Set in Europe's largest unofficial refugee camp in Calais, France, the Jungle became a temporary home for more than 10,000 people in 2015. Carole Shorenstein Hays announced today Curran and New York Times will present Beyond Borders on Tuesday, February 26 at 7 p.m. One month before the theater transforms into a refugee camp's Afghan cafe for the West Coast debut of the celebrated new play THE JUNGLE, New York Times journalists will discuss how the U.S. treats its migrants and immigrants, addressing what is happening at the borders and in our cities, including sanctuary cities like San Francisco. The event is part of Curran's popular SHOW & TELL series, featuring topical one-night-only events. St. Ann's Warehouse presents When Does a Place Become Home?, an exhibition of six acclaimed international artists and photojournalists currently working on the front lines of the world's migrant crisis, from the original Calais Jungle to Serbia to the Southern borders of the U.S. Photographer and filmmaker Miguel Amortegui, photographer Sarah Hickson, conceptual artist Omar Imam, Getty special correspondent John Moore, refugee photographer Abdul Saboor, and visual journalist Griselda San Martin provide a hard look at the complexities of immigration and migration. Their work documents the experiences of people worldwide embarking on perilous journeys to find safety in new homes or temporary stops along the way.
