SFJAZZ has unveiled its 2026-27 Season, Forward Motion, featuring more than 350 concerts that celebrate jazz as a living, evolving art form shaped by artists from around the world.

PCS Theater will soon present Lobby Hero, written by acclaimed playwright Kenneth Lonergan and presented through Dramatists Play Service. The production runs May 1 through May 16, 2026, and is directed by John Parkinson. 

The Flint Institute of Music will present a month of performances across its venues, including Stomp, The Gazillion Bubble Show George Lopez stand-up, choral and dance showcases, plus more.

SMOKE Jazz Club has announced a line-up for the month of May 2026. Three artists celebrate their respective record releases: Steve Wilson Enduring Sonance, Jeremy Pelt Our Community Will Not Be Erased, and Billy Childs Triumvirate.

The Stanford Jazz Workshop has announced the 54th annual Stanford Jazz Festival at Stanford University. This year's festival will feature a diverse lineup including jazz legends and contemporary artists across various genres.

Pianist and composer Laszlo Gardony will perform with his quartet at Regattabar in Cambridge on Friday, April 10. The performance will feature saxophonist Don Braden, bassist John Lockwood, and drummer Yoron Israel.
