MarbleJam Kids 12th Annual Dinner Benefit - Celebrating the Music of Life Edgewood Country Club, 449 Rivervale Rd, River Vale, NJ 07675 will host MarbleJam Kids, a 501c3 nonprofit organization, "Celebrating the Music of Life," benefit dinner event. The elegant remodeled Edgewood Country Club sets an elegant stage for the gala event with cocktails, dinner, auctions, dancing, under the spring warm air balcony. MarbleJam Kids will honor the following individuals for their impact in our community and beyond: Jacqueline Laurita, Global Autism Advocate & Star of Real Housewives of NJ; Tom & Lucy Ott, Founders of David's Fund; Jodi DiPiazza, teen musical prodigy and Autism Ambassador; and Peter Demoleas, florist and outstanding volunteer. Live entertainment provided by Willie Wilson and his band The Willies, a local favorite featuring retro, contemporary, and rock selections. Founded in 2007, MarbleJam Kids provides creative arts therapies and adaptive arts and enrichment to children of all ages with autism and special needs. MarbleJam Kids Center for Creative Arts Therapy provides a safe space for exploration, creative expression, social and prevocational skills, with the support of therapists, special educators, trained support staff, and volunteers. The facility is equipped with a dance, art and music studio and allows for both group and private sessions as well as adaptive arts instruction. MarbleJam Kids is a state authorized service provider through NJ Dept. of Health & Human Services and is dedicated to working with each family to ensure programs meet their child's unique needs and abilities. MarbleJam Kids has worked with hundreds of children, youth, and young adults in Bergen County and beyond, but may only continue to do so through fundraising and community support. Seattle Women's Chorus (SWC) wraps their 2018-2019 season with one big blowout concert at Benaroya Hall on April 28 at 4pm. Legends of Rock is a loud proud ode to the trailblazing singer-songwriters who weren't afraid to raise their voices and make a scene.

Mark Weiss, was a 14-year old kid from New Jersey when he made a deal with a neighbor to cut his lawn in exchange for a 35mm camera. Thus began a lifelong journey of rock & roll mayhem that continues to this day. While in high school, Mark would sneak his camera into concerts, paying off security guards to get him closer to the stage. Mark developed the prints in his parent's bathroom to sell the next morning out of his school locker and then in front of the concert venue that night.

Lively McCabe Entertainment Co-President Michael Barra proudly announces a slate of three new stage musicals in partnership with licensing agency Theatrical Rights Worldwide (TRW) and music powerhouse BMG. These initial three projects, all which will have premiere productions in 2020 (TBA), will feature select music from the BMG catalog, as part of their previously announced partnership with Lively McCabe.

Steppenwolf Theatre Company announced today the full casting for the world premiere of MS. BLAKK FOR PRESIDENT, co-written by ensemble members Tina Landau (SpongeBob SquarePants: The Broadway Musical) and Tarell Alvin McCraney (Moonlight, Academy Award). Conceived by Tina Landau, she also directs this true and little-known Chicago story that will star Tarell Alvin McCraney as Ms. Joan Jett Blakk. Joining McCraney in the cast are Patrick Andrews, Molly Brennan, Daniel Kyri, Jon Hudson Odom and Sawyer Smith.

 Brooklyn's Girls on Grass announce the release of their sophomore album, Dirty Power, on April 5, 2019. The video for the first single off the album, "Down At The Bottom", premieres on The Big Takeover today. 

After Hours Concerts Series announced that Tesla will play at the Marks & Harrison Amphitheater in Fredericksburg, VA on Saturday, June 8th, 2019. Chance Theater, Anaheim's official resident theater company, is delighted to produce the Regional Premiere of Lizzie, The Musical. With music by Steven Cheslik-deMeyer and Alan Stevens Hewitt, lyrics by Steven Cheslik-deMeyer and Tim Maner, a book by Tim Maner, with additional music by Tim Maner, additional lyrics by Alan Stevens Hewitt, based on an original concept by Steven Cheslik-deMeyer and Tim Maner, this musical's orchestrations are done by Alan Stevens Hewitt. Lizzie, The Musical will preview from February 1st through February 8th; regular performances will begin February 9th and continue through March 3rd on the Cripe Stage at the Bette Aitken theater arts Center.

Arts Centre Melbourne is inviting music-lovers to rock out at Hamer Hall as part of a massive, free community concert featuring Aussie music icons in March 2019. Those Who Rock, a participatory arts project led by internationally-acclaimed artist Joseph Farrell (JOF), invites members of the community of all skill levels and ages to grab a guitar and join free community rehearsals across Melbourne in February. The project will culminate in a huge concert featuring hundreds of guitarists and some of Australia's beloved rock heroes at Arts Centre Melbourne's Hamer Hall on March 24, 2019.
