The Museum of Sex (MoSex) has announced details about its summer exhibition, 'Erotic Content & the Mainstream 1960 till Today.' This exhibition, a presentation of media examining how erotic content has permeated mainstream culture since the 1960s, will be on view at the Museum of Sex (233 Fifth Avenue) starting June 4, 2021.

Delvon Lamarr Organ Trio conjures the smoky 1960s jazz stylings of Jimmy Smith and Baby Face Willette, and the snappy soul strut of Booker T. & The M.G.’s, The Meters, Dr. Lonnie Smith, and Charles Earland. Ferrari Sheppard’s solo exhibition at UTA Artist Space is now open through May 15. The ambitious presentation fills all three of the gallery’s exhibition spaces with emotional portraits of influential cultural figures such as Jimi Hendrix and Tupac Shakur, as well as the artist’s friends and family. 

UTA Artist Space will present Positions of Power, a solo exhibition of new paintings by the Los Angeles-based artist Ferrari Sheppard, on view from April 16 through May 15, 2021.
