CBS FALL PREVIEW, hosted by new series stars Iain Armitage (YOUNG SHELDON), David Boreanaz (SEAL TEAM), Mark Feuerstein (9JKL), Shemar Moore (S.W.A.T.), Bobby Moynihan (ME, MYSELF & I) and Jeremy Piven (WISDOM OF THE CROWD), is a primetime special highlighting the Network's six new fall series. It will be broadcast Monday, Sept. 4 (8:30-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network

During the week of August 7, 2017, ABC's JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE shot up over the prior week by 20% in Total Viewers (2.087 million vs. 1.733 million), drawing its largest audience in 8 weeks – since the week of 6/12/17. In fact, excluding this year's NBA Finals-led weeks, “Kimmel” attracted its biggest weekly audience so far this summer.

THE BIG BANG THEORY's co-creator, Chuck Lorre told The Hollywood Reporter at Tuesday's Television Critics Association's summer press tour that the long-running comedy will most likely sign off the airwaves following Season 12.

The Arctic Group has commissioned playwright Daniel Talbott (Slipping and Afghanistan, Zimbabwe, America, Kuwait) to write a new short play that will be performed on a double bill with Steve McMahon's Sad Indie Love Song in Series B of their inaugural FRIDGE Festival. The festival runs August 31 - September 10, and Series B will play Thu 8/31 at 9pm, Sun 9/3 at 7pm, Wed 9/6 9pm, and Sat 9/9 at 7pm.

Annie Potts has joined the cast of CBS's BIG BANG THEORY spin-off series YOUNG SHELDON.  The series marks a return to television for Potts who is best known for her starring role in DESIGNING WOMEN.

A series of tweets on the parody account @TheTweetofGod landed American comedy writer David Javerbaum a book deal. Eventually that book, The Last Testament: A Memoir By God, was adapted for the stage and renamed as An Act of God. The stage version premiered at Broadway's Studio 54 Theatre in 2015 with Big Bang Theory sitcom star Jim Parsons in the leading role. A second run featured Will & Grace's Sean Hayes in the leading role, and now the B Street Theatre will give the holy role to Nick Cearley (Buyer & Cellar).
