BWW Review: THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW at Richmond Triangle Players Thrills the Audience

The run sold out almost instantly, but 'The Rocky Horror Show' at Richmond Triangle Players is too fun to not review. The 1973 musical by Richard O'Brien was a hit in London but not in New York, and of course it was later made into the spectacularly successful late-night movie favorite. It's wildly uneven and doesn't make a lot of sense, but there's no denying how much enjoyment it provides.

Richmond Triangle Players celebrates the greatest cult musical of all time with its production of Richard O'Brien's The Rocky Horror Show, in a strictly limited run, opening Friday October 18, 2019, at 8 pm, following one low-priced preview on Thursday, October 17 at 8 pm. The production will run just eleven performances, through October 26.

Richmond Triangle Players continues its 25th Anniversary celebration with a production of Larry Kramer's provocative chronicle of the AIDS epidemic, The Normal Heart. A largely autobiographical work taking place at the height of the onset of the disease, The Normal Heart opens Thursday April 19 at 8:00 pm, following a low-priced preview on Wednesday April 18. The production's presenting partner is Health Brigade, a leader in AIDS-related service for almost four decades.
