Mrs. Doubtfire, the new musical, will close on Broadway May 29th, 2022, at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre .

Orlando Repertory Theatre will join in partnership with TheaterWorksUSA bringing three productions to Orlando REP stages during 2022-2023.  After a successful presentation of TheaterWorksUSA's The Pout-Pout Fish earlier this year, a full season partnership brings Dog Man: The Musical, Click, Clack, Moo, and The Lightning Thief: Theater for Young Audiences Edition to Orlando family audiences. Orlando REP's full 2022-2023 Season will be announced soon.

Music Man stars Sutton Foster and Hugh Jackman sat down with Seth Meyers to discuss their return to Broadway in the Music Man after the pandemic, troublesome audience members, and why they were initially intimidated to work with each other. They also praised swings and understudies, with Foster detailing her experiences working as one.

Sutton Foster dished on her pre-show ritual with Hugh Jackman, returning to the stage after the pandemic, and more. Foster also discussed that she sings 'Goodnight, My Someone' from the show every night to her daughter, Emily. Foster spoke on what it was like to have her daughter in the audience while she sang the song during the show.

The Outer Critics Circle (OCC), the official organization of writers on New York theatre for out-of-town newspapers and national publications, have just announced the nominees for the 71st Annual Outer Critics Circle Awards, honoring the 2021-2022 Broadway and Off-Broadway season.

The Drama League today announced the 2022 Drama League Awards Nominees and we've got all the nominations for for Outstanding Production of a Play, Outstanding Revival of a Play, Outstanding Production of a Musical, Outstanding Revival of a Musical, Outstanding Direction of a Play, Outstanding Direction of a Musical, and the much-coveted Distinguished Performance Award.

A new book about the making of Grease will be released in honor of the musical's 50th anniversary this year!

The event will honor Bonnie Comley & Stewart F. The cast will feature Nicole Vanessa Ortiz (Paper Mill Debut, Smokey Joe's Cafe Off-Broadway) as Deloris Van Cartier, Akron Watson (Paper Mill Debut, The Color Purple on Broadway) as Curtis, Jennifer Allen (Carnival at Paper Mill, The Bridges of Madison County on Broadway) as Mother Superior, and more!

Last night (April 14), Mrs. Doubtfire, the new musical comedy, returned to Broadway at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre (124 W 43rd St).

On a new episode of Stephen Colbert's 'Dream Role Goals,' Sutton Foster revealed her musical theatre dream roles. Foster discusses which Broadway roles she'd like to take one, including parts in Gypsy, Hello, Dolly!, and Funny Girl.

Producer Kevin McCollum announced today that the original Broadway cast of Mrs. Doubtfire will record a cast album this week in New York City. The album will feature the Broadway cast that opened the show on December 5, 2021, including Tony Award nominee Rob McClure as Daniel Hillard, Jenn Gambatese as Miranda Hillard, and more.

Hugh Jackman appeared last night on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to discuss April Fool's Day, auditioning for Wolverine, and The Music Man.

Mrs. Doubtfire will welcome new cast members to the company, all making their Broadway debut. Titus Landegger and Tyler Wladis will share the role of Christopher Hillard while Austin Elle Fisher and Ava Gail Prince will share the role of Natalie Hillard. Renée Reid also joins the company as a swing.

Today, Sutton Foster posted a video on Instagram of the final bows at The Music Man on Broadway, followed by a brief speech by Hugh Jackman. The actress celebrated her birthday yesterday, made even more special by Broadway's own Harold Hill conducting the audience and company of the show as they sang 'Happy Birthday' to the Tony winner. 

Philadelphia favorite, Krissy Fraelich, will join Broadway Veteran Kelly Briggs( Les Miserables, CATS) in concert at the Gateway Playhouse on Sunday April 3rd at 3pm.
