The Prom officially opened last night, November 15, at Broadway's Longacre Theatre! BroadwayWorld was there, and you can check out photos from the red carpet below!

Just last night, Mark William made his solo nightclub debut at The Green Room 42 with the world premiere of 'Come Croon With Me.' Putting his own unique, youthful spin on golden age crooner styling, Mark performed a collection of classic tunes from Broadway and The Great American Songbook. With his sophisticated approach, he glided from Jerry Herman to Peter Allen to Henry Mancini with charismatic ease and a spring in his step.

Even the celebrities had a tough time getting a ticket for their shows at Feinstein's/54 Below. Jana Robbins and Haley Swindal's closing night's performance actually seemed more like an opening night with all the notability in the room. Audiences have been wildly enthusiastic about their cabaret act titled The Songs of Kander & Ebb…We Just Move On!

Jennifer Diamond has managed to balance married life in the country and a hectic city schedule, while pursuing that elusive first Broadway Show. Jen has earned her chevrons with productions of LES MISERABLES, EVITA, RUTHLESS!, INTO THE WOODS, FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, among them, and has cut her cabaret teeth on previous club appearances at Joe's Pub and Feinstein's/54Below. Last night she brought her latest show with fresh material and continued 'Tales of Adventure' to midtown's hottest new room in the heart of Times Square, The Green Room 42.

Talented dynamic people always seem to find each other. I don't know who found who first, but the uber talented Jennifer Diamond and the dynamic creative Richard Jay-Alexander combined forces a while back and Jennifer's debut performance at Green Room 42 last night was something extra special.

Broadway's newest intimate concert venue – has announced the solo debut of Mykal Kilgore, the celebrated vocalist from The Wiz Live! on NBC TV, Postmodern Jukebox, Motown on Broadway and more, for a two night concert engagement Friday, March 9 at 9:30 PM and Saturday, March 10 at 7:00 PM. These shows will feature original music from Mykal's upcoming album and covers of some of music's most heralded pop favorites with a Kilgore twist. After performances for “The View,” the Mayor of New York, and Brooklyn Nets, these live intimate shows powerfully return Kilgore to the concert stage.

THE GREEN ROOM 42 - Broadway's newest intimate concert venue - has announced the return of "The Shakespearean Jazz Show" featuringFun Home star and Tony Award nominee Emily Skeggs and the Nine Worthies jazz ensemble in the exciting and original "The Shakespearean Jazz show" for two nights onFriday, February 2 and Friday, February 9.The show is directed by Emily Grill, produced by Ari Conteand Emily Grill, and features original music by Patrick Greeley.

Both were directed by longtime pal Richard Jay-Alexander.

Jennifer Diamond is set to make her Joe's Pub solo debut on March 27th, at 9:30 P.M. After selling out at FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, with her debut act, IT MY FIRST TIME: PLEASE BE GENTLE, she's bringing it to the LES's music hot-spot with IT'S MY FIRST TIME: DOWNTOWN EDITION. Both were directed by longtime pal Richard Jay-Alexander. They first worked together on LES MISERABLES and a number of benefits, and Jay-Alexander found her uniquely talented and versatile enough to put a special spin on a debut act for her, visiting her arrival into the business, her story as an up-and-coming actress and all the good and bad (and bad) that goes with it. New material has been added and, of course, new stories continue in the saga of "Girl comes to New York to Take Broadway By Storm."

The new recording of RUTHLESS! The Musical, produced by Robert Sher for Caroline Records, will feature the entire original cast: Peter Land, Kim Maresca, Tori Murray, Rita McKenzie, Andrea McCullough, and Tracy Jai Edwards. The recording is set for today (Tuesday) at Carriage House Studios, with music supervision by Marvin Laird and music direction by Ricky Romano.

The stars of Off-Broadway's award-winning musical smash RUTHLESS!, Kim Maresca and Tori Murray, performed songs from the show at the May 25th launch party celebrating the special June travel issue of W42ST Magazine. Here they are wowing the crowd at Hudson Boulevard Park accompanied by the great Marvin Laird. 

The fabulous Rita McKenzie, star of the award-winning musical smash RUTHLESS!, recently attended a pre-Tony bash thrown by the HAMILTON company. Here she is celebrating their whopping 16 nominations with the cast and creative team at the IAC Building.

That diabolical eight-year-old Tina Denmark (as played by Tori Murray in RUTHLESS!) has again been seen stalking the Theatre District. This week she stopped by SHUFFLE ALONG to congratulate the producers on their 10 Tony nominations as well as their recent big Drama Critics' Circle prize. Undaunted after being told that the producers don't actually live at the theatre, the opportunistic little b*tch posed for this photo showing off her terpsichorean skills. It's no secret that Tina will do anything to land in a hit Broadway show...ANYTHING!

Bernadette Peters performed the ultimate anthem to mothers everywhere, 'Angel Mom' from RUTHLESS!, at the 1996 record-breaking L.A. concert production of the hit musical. Watch the video in honor of Mother's Day now!

Due to overwhelming demand, the producers of the Off-Broadway smash, RUTHLESS! The Musical, today put a new block of seats on sale through September 10th.

In this recent disturbing photo, Tina Denmark (as played by 11-year-old Tori Murray in RUTHLESS!) is seen loitering in front of Broadway's AMERICAN PSYCHO. From her expression, she appears highly displeased with this new, potential competition for the theatre season's favorite serial killer.
