Ralph Lauren Corporation announced that Stefan Larsson, one of the most successful executives in the fashion industry, has been named Chief Executive Officer. His appointment will become effective in November, at which time he will also join the Ralph Lauren Corporation board. Larsson will report to Ralph Lauren, who will continue to actively drive the company's vision and strategy as Executive Chairman and Chief Creative Officer.

Saks Fifth Avenue announced plans to open its first-ever stand-alone 10022-SHOE store in Greenwich, Connecticut. Nordstrom announced plans to expand its partnership with MADEWELL by adding distribution to an additional 15 stores across the country. By late July, the retailer will carry the MADEWELL collection in a total of 30 locations and Nordstrom.com. Nordstrom is the only U.S. retailer to sell a broad assortment of MADEWELL merchandise, outside of MADEWELL stores.
