SCHITT'S CREEK, KNIVES OUT, & More Win at the 22nd Costume Designers Guild Awards

Winners have been announced for the 22nd CDGA (Costume Designers Guild Awards) which took place earlier this evening at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA. Executive produced by JumpLine, the annual CDGA celebrated excellence in film, television, and short form Costume Design as voted on by the Guild's membership. The CDG includes more than 1,100 Costume Designers and Illustrators working in motion pictures, television, commercials, music videos, and new media programs throughout the world.

Showtime Orders Second Season of THE L WORD: GENERATION Q

SHOWTIME has ordered a ten-episode second season of THE L WORD: GENERATION Q, the sequel to the groundbreaking drama series THE L WORD®. Season one has followed the intermingled lives of Bette Porter (Jennifer Beals), Shane McCutcheon (Katherine Moennig) and Alice Pieszecki (Leisha Hailey), along with new characters Dani Nùñez (Arienne Mandi), Micah Lee (Leo Sheng), Finley (Jacqueline Toboni), Sophie Suarez (Rosanny Zayas) and Gigi (Sepideh Moafi), as they experience love, heartbreak, sex, setbacks and success in L.A. Currently airing Sundays at 10 p.m. ET/PT, season one is executive produced by showrunner Marja-Lewis Ryan (The Four-Faced Liar, 6 Balloons), with series creator Ilene Chaiken, Kristen Campo, Allyce Ozarski, Steph Green (pilot), and original series stars Jennifer Beals, Katherine Moennig and Leisha Hailey. The season finale is set to air on January 26. The announcement was made today at the Television Critics Association's Winter Press Tour.

SHOWTIME has announced four new series regulars joining the cast of THE L WORD: GENERATION Q, premiering this fall on SHOWTIME. Arienne Mandi (Baja), Leo Sheng (Adam), Jacqueline Toboni (Easy) and Rosanny Zayas (Orange is the New Black) are set to star as the new generation of LGBTQIA characters who will join original series stars and executive producers Jennifer Beals, Katherine Moennig and Leisha Hailey. Executive produced by showrunner Marja-Lewis Ryan (The Four-Faced Liar, 6 Balloons), original series creator Ilene Chaiken, Kristen Campo and Steph Green (pilot), the series is set to begin production on eight episodes in Los Angeles this summer.
