The new musical revue, THE PIN UP GIRLS, written by James Hindman (Popcorn Falls) and Jeffrey Lodin (Disney's Doug Live!) will be presented to a private industry audience ahead of its world premiere production at the Casa Manana Theatre in Fort Worth Texas.

Due to popular demand, The Argyle Theatre has announced a one-week extension of The Producers, with book by Mel Brooks and Thomas Meehan, and music & lyrics by &&Mel Brooks. The Producers will now play through Saturday evening, April 27, 2019 at The Argyle Theatre

In the smash hit musical 'The Producers,' veteran producer Max Bialystock explains to his accountant/new producing partner Leo Bloom the step by step instructions of producing a Broadway show. He advised to find the worst play ever written, hire the worst actors in town, find the worst director in town, and finally open on Broadway. Luckily, the Argyle Theatre in Babylon Village did just the opposite. They chose one of the best musicals ever written by Mel Brooks as their season closer, gathered a troop of top notch professionals to perform it, and chose Broadway veteran Evan Pappas, the best in the business, to direct it.

An invitation only industry reading will take place March 30th of the new holiday musical A Gander Family Christmas, from the hilarious off-kilter minds of Ryan Duncan and Tad Wilson, with a book and original lyrics by Ryan Duncan and original music and arrangements by Jeffrey Lodin (Disney's 'Doug Live!', Popcorn Falls, A Letter to Harvey Milk).

Long Island's newest theatrical venue The Argyle Theatre (Mark and Dylan Perlman, Managing Partners; Evan Pappas, Artistic Director) concludes its inaugural season with the hit Tony Award-winning Broadway musical The Producers, with book by Mel Brooks and Thomas Meehan, and music & lyrics by Mel Brooks. Now on stage for a limited engagement through Sunday, April 20, 2019 at The Argyle Theatre (34 West Main Street, Babylon, Long Island) where performances began March 14, 2019. After popping open at The Davenport Theatre this fall, Popcorn Falls, written by James Hindman and directed by Christian Borle, in his New York directorial debut, will play its final performance on Sunday, November 25, producers Schondeikkan Productions and D.T.R. Productions announced today. Popcorn Falls will have played 28 previews and 56 performances.

The new Off-Broadway comedy Popcorn Falls opened just last night, October 8, at the Davenport Theatre (354 W 45th Street). The production, written by James Hindman, is directed by two-time Tony Award winner Christian Borle, in his New York directorial debut. Popcorn Falls stars Adam Heller and Tom Souhrada, playing over twenty roles in under ninety minutes.
