On Wednesday, January 20, Disney's THE LION KING welcomed its one millionth guest to the Parisian production at the Mogador Theatre. This landmark number of theatre patrons adds to an already celebratory year in which THE LION KING, presented by Stage Entertainment Ltd, Disney's licensed presenting partner in Europe, entered its 3rd season in the French capital, making it the longest-running musical in Parisian history.

Disney Theatrical Productions and the Orange County Performing Arts Center announced today that tickets for the long-awaited return engagement of DISNEY'S THE LION KING will go on sale to the public on Sunday, February 7 at 10 a.m.

Tickets for Disney's Tony® Award-winning musical THE LION KING went on sale in Madison, WI on Saturday, December 5 and sold over 8,000 tickets, dwarfing the previous record for single-day sales of a single event, set in 2007 when 2,962 tickets were sold.

The San Antonio return of Disney's THE LION KING opens at 8 p.m. tonight Friday, December 11 at the Majestic Theatre for a limited engagement of 4 weeks through January 3, 2010.

Disney's THE LION KING has been confirmed for a multiple-week limited return engagement at the SAN DIEGO CIVIC THEATRE beginning OCTOBER 13 and playing through NOVEMBER 8, 2009. This North American National Tour is currently one of seven productions running worldwide along with New York, London, Hamburg, Tokyo, Paris, and Fukuoka.
