The Alfred P. Sloan Foundation and the Coolidge Corner Theatre have announced the 2022 National Evening of Science on Screen®, coming to cinemas across the nation on Tuesday, March 22, 2022. That evening, participating organizations will use one of the nation’s favorite pastimes—going to the movies—to promote public understanding of science.

Harris, El Puente, and Clubbed Thumb to present A Song of Songs by Agnes Borinsky (Weird Classrooms at University Settlement, Of Government with Clubbed Thumb), and directed by Machel Ross (Jeremy O. Harris’ Black Exhibition at The Bushwick Starr, Ars Nova 2022 Vision Resident and 2020 Sundance Theater Lab fellow).

Amanda Selwyn Dance Theatre announces the 22nd Season Annual Gala: In This Moment, May 19, 2022, 6:30-9:30 p.m. at 873 Broadway, Suite 301, NYC. The evening will feature performances from Amanda Selwyn Dance Theatre Company and Notes in Motion Partner Schools, a live DJ and dancing, a silent auction, giveaways, as well as wine, cocktails, and hors d'oeuvres. Jacob’s Pillow has announced Belgian and Moroccan choreographer, dancer, and director Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui as the recipient of the 2022 Jacob’s Pillow Dance Award. Cherkaoui will accept this award and present a new work at the season-opening Gala on June 18.
Jay commenced the first complete recording of the original version of the musical with the original orchestrations by Philip J. Lang at Abbey Road Studios, London on October 5 1996 and completed it at Clinton Recording Studios, New York on October 19 1996. This will be the first time it is released to the public.
