Segerstrom Center for the Arts will present Tony Award winner, five-time Tony® nominee and highly celebrated stage and screen actress Laura Benanti in her debut in the Cabaret Series for three performances September 23, 24 and 25 at the Samueli Theatre.

Laura and Linda Benanti's concert, as part of Seth Rudetsky's Seth Concert Series, premiered yesterday at 3pm and re-aired at 8pm.

Deadline has reported that Laura Benanti will joining the cast of HBO Max's upcoming Gossip Girl sequel series. Full Frontal with Samantha Bee is going into the woods and coming back onto your TV this Wednesday, March 25th. Samantha Bee, who like the rest of the country is adjusting to working from home, will return to her normal 10:30 p.m. timeslot and broadcast her 30-minute late-night series from home. Executive Producer Jason Jones, Bee's husband and quarantine roommate, will film the episode from a socially distant six feet away--and even further away if it's a better angle for Bee.

Second Stage Theater (Carole Rothman, President and Artistic Director; Casey Reitz, Executive Director) has announced Ben McKenzie (Ben) will complete the cast of Bess Wohl's GRAND HORIZONS. The production will mark his Broadway debut.

Kevin Reilly, President, TBS, TNT, and truTV, and Chief Content Officer, HBO Max today announced that Brett Weitz, general manager of TBS & TNT will now also take on oversight of truTV, reporting to him. Weitz will manage all three networks and oversee the creative executive teams and development for all three networks in New York and Los Angeles. Concurrently, Thom Hinkle has been upped to head of original content for all three networks.

The Consul General of Canada Mr. Zaib Shaikh and his wife Kirstine Stewart celebrated the 70+ Canadian Emmy nominations last evening at the official Canadian Residence in Los Angeles last evening (Saturday, September 21).
