Student Blog: No Rest for the Drowsy

It is entertaining to reflect on the madness of a tech week, and rewarding to be reminded of the success brought by hard work. I will never be able to articulate fully just how grateful I am to be able to keep studying and performing in productions right now. The Drowsy Chaperone has been just a beacon of joy in my life, and I’m sure that extends to my peers and even our audience members.

Lakewood Cultural Center and Performance Now Theatre Company Present THE DROWSY CHAPERONE

The Lakewood Cultural Center and Performance Now Theatre Company co-present 'The Drowsy Chaperone' from March 20 through April 5 at the Lakewood Cultural Center. Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays at 2 p.m. Tickets start at $20 and are available at 303-987-7845, Lakewood.org/LCCPresents or the Lakewood Cultural Center Box Office, 470 S. Allison Parkway (Wadsworth and West Alameda Avenue).

St. Bart's Players Presents THE DROWSY CHAPERONE

Be transported to the magical, glamorous and madcap world of The Drowsy Chaperone, the final Main-Stage production of the St. Bart's Players 92nd season. The show runs November 5th through November 10th at the Off-Broadway John Cullum Theatre (formerly The American Theatre of Actors Inc.) in Midtown.

St. Bart's Players Announces Casting For THE DROWSY CHAPERONE

Closing out its 92nd season, the St. Bart's Players will present The Drowsy Chaperone, the five time Tony- Award winning musical, with a book by Bob Martin & Don McKellar and music and lyrics by Lisa Lambert & Greg Morrison. The show runs November 5th-10th with 7 performances at The John Cullum Theatre (314 W. 54th st), formerly The American Theatre of Actors Inc.

The third show in the 2019 season is the Broadway At Music Circus premiere of the award-winning musical comedy The Drowsy Chaperone is now on stage, starring writeractorcomedian Bruce Vilanch and featuring a cast of Broadway veterans. This past week, two-time Tony Award winner and Broadway's next Marian the Librarian, Sutton Foster, received an honorary doctorate of music from the Boston Conservatory at Berklee and spoke at the school's commencement ceremony for the graduating class of 2019. Check out the full video below!
