The Bourbon Room, along with Joy Coalition, will welcome Tony, Grammy, Emmy and Pulitzer Prize Award-winning composer Tom Kitt for two special performances on Sunday, May 7 (8:00 pm) and Monday, May 8 (8:00 pm) at The Bourbon Room, situated right in the heart of Hollywood overlooking the Walk of Fame. Kitt will make his Bourbon Room debut, leading a night of songs and stories from his Broadway, Off-Broadway, and upcoming musicals.
Joey McIntyre and drag icon Jujubee have joined the cast of DRAG: The Musical, returning to The Bourbon Room in Hollywood, with performances running September 23-October 15, 2022.
Shane Scheel and his live show production company For The Record Live has found their new Hollywood home in The Bourbon Room. Relativity School of Film, Media and Performing Arts will host a panel discussion with the creative team behind one of the longest running shows in Broadway history on Monday, July 22nd from 3-5pm PST at LA Center Studios, 450 South Bixel St, LA, CA 90017. The film adaptation of Broadway's ROCK OF AGES will be released on Blu-ray/DVD on October 9, 2012. The film, which had its theatrical release on June 15th, stars Tom Cruise, Julianne Hough, Alec Baldwin, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Russell Brand, Paul Giamatti and Diego Boneta.

Adam Shankman's ROCK OF AGES, which opened last weekend, brought in an additional $8 million in its second weekend, according to Boxofficemojo. As Broadwayworld previously reported, the musical earned $14.4 million in its opening weekend, and a total of $28,763,000. The movie took fifth place (behind Brave, Madagascar 3, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter and Prometheus), having the sixth-highest opening ever for a musical.
