Clubbed Thumb has announced initial casting for its 2026 SUMMERWORKS festival. The annual festival of new plays will take place at the wild project in New York City. The lineup will include three productions running throughout the summer.
Neurodivergent Plays will present a reading of Pluck by Jan Rosenberg at Brooklyn Art Haus as part of its 2025–26 season. The new play explores adolescence, gender identity, and transformation through the story of twin sisters. The reading continues the company’s mission to spotlight work by neurodivergent playwrights.
The Farm Theater has awarded playwright Nandita Shenoy with the 2026-27 College Collaboration Project Commission. Shenoy will collaborate with students at Centre College in Danville, KY and the University of Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music.

Jake will collaborate with Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, TN and Pellissippi State College in Knoxville, TN. Austin Peay is participating in The Farm Theater's College Collaboration Project for the first time. This will be Pellissippi State's second year, following their partnership in 2018-19.
Now in its seventh season of supporting emerging female writers The Farm Theater has awarded their 2020/21 College Collaboration Project Commission to playwright Lia Romeo (The Forest, featured on The Kilroys' List; NYIT Award nominee for Connected at 59E59). Ms. Romeo will collaborate with Centre College in Danville, KY (fall 2020) and Wells College in Aurora, NY (spring 2020).
