Last night, TheaterWorksUSA celebrated 57 years with its benefit at The Current at Chelsea Piers hosted by Broadway's James Snyder. The evening raised critical funds to support TheaterWorksUSA's mission which addresses the disproportionate accessibility of theater for young people by creating exceptional, transformative theatrical experiences for audiences in diverse communities throughout New York City and North America. The sold-out event honored TheaterWorksUSA champions, Marco Masotti and Tracy Stein, Judith C. Prince, and apple seeds.
The 2019 Broadway Cares Easter Bonnet Competition was held earlier this week. The Easter Bonnet Competition (#broadwaybonnets) is the culmination celebration of six weeks of fundraising by Broadway, Off-Broadway and national touring companies.

The Green Room 42 brings New Generation Theater Company's 'Let Me Be Your Star' to New York City for a one night only engagement. 'Let Me Be Your Star' is a musical tribute to one of NBC's most treasured TV series SMASH. The performance will play Saturday, April 13th at 9:30pm at The Green Room 42. The night will feature numbers such as History Is Made at Night, They Just Keep Moving the Line, Never Give All the Heart, Broadway Here I Come, Let Me Be Your Star and more!
