In response to the recent COVID-19 limitations affecting the theatre community and beyond, Normal Ave is excited to announce QuaranStream, a free series of commissioned world premiere digital play readings on Facebook Live and IGTV. Normal Ave will be canceling the remainder of it's live programing for the 2019-20 season, including the revival of Suzan Lori-Parks' The Book of Grace. Normal Ave will resume in-person programming in the Fall of 2020.
Paramount Network's highly-anticipated launch in 2018 will kick-off with a programming lineup featuring a mix of new, high-quality, premium entertainment scripted series, non-scripted returning pop-culture favorites, and original sports and specials for a broad audience.
HH Productions, LLC, in association with The York Theatre Company will present a special staged reading of the new musical HOWARD, written by Frank Evans (Book and Lyrics) and James Scully (Music), directed by Jennifer Paulson-Lee, conducted by Jeff Saver and musical supervision/arrangements by Scott Cady. HOWARD will be presented at Manhattan Movement and Arts Center (248 West 60 Street, NYC 10023) on Wednesday, January 27th at 1PM; Thursday, January 28th at 1PM; and Friday, January 29th at 1PM. Fifteen years after Columbine, with school shootings continuing to proliferate the national headlines, Nathaniel Sam Shapiro's The Erlkings will get its world premiere. Directed by Saheem Ali and presented by Factory School Productions and Rashad V. Chambers, The Erlkings began performances on November 9, and opened on November 16 through December 13, 2014 at Theatre Row's Beckett Theatre (410 West 42nd Street).
