Strut & Fret producer, Scott Maidment has announced that international burlesque performer, fitness instructor, accomplished dancer, and acrobat Jake DuPree (they/them) is joining the BLANC de BLANC troupe from Wednesday 16 August.

This new single follows Le Fil’s recent appearance on Season 4 of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK and his EP Le Filosophical, that featured his original tracks created each week for the show, a first in the franchise’s history, which included tracks like “East To The West” and “Yin To My Yang,” featured on his recent tours and performances for Drag Race UK.

Following the recent release of his celebrated new album Last Man Dancing, an explosive performance at Glastonbury and recent opening tour supporting Duran Duran, Jake has appeared on television on ‘Live With Kelly & Mark’ for their fourth of July special performing “Too Much Music” and playing a game. Watch the video of the performance now!

Jake Shears has released his new record, Last Man Dancing. The project features the new single, a brand new collaboration with Kylie Minogue (“Voices”), plus recent singles “Too Much Music” and “I Used To be In Love”. Following a recent run of support sets in the UK with Duran Duran, Shears will take Last Man Dancing on the road this summer.

Idina Menzel is kicking off Pride Month with the new music video for her single 'Move.' Describing her new album as a 'love letter' to the Queer community, Menzel worked alongside global hitmakers Nile Rodgers, Jake Shears, Justin Tranter, Sir Nolan, Simon Wilcox, Laura Veltz, Jim Eliot, Maty Noyes, Mitch Allan, and more for the new dance record.

The record was conceived between the US, Portugal, and London (where Jake relocated from his New Orleans home during the pandemic) alongside the sort of head-turning guestlist that, in Shears’ cross-pollinating universe, also makes total sense: from Amber Martin and Boys Noize to Big Freedia, Kylie Minogue, and cameos from Jane Fonda and Iggy Pop.
