This Friday, Northern Town Parody Musicals reveals their take on an iconic 'children's' cartoon in SCOOBY-DOO: A MUSICAL PARODY! NTP's latest endeavor will premiere on Friday, January 14th, 2022 at 8 pm EST. The production will be streamed free of charge on the Northern Town Parodies YouTube account.

Asolo Rep proudly kicks off its 60th season with a highly imaginative production of Meredith Willson's Tony Award-winning exuberant masterpiece THE MUSIC MAN. Directed by Tony nominee Jeff Calhoun (Newsies), this tap dancing-infused production stars legendary Broadway song and dance man Noah Racey as Harold Hill. The 24th season of the Adirondack Theatre Festival will feature the golden era tap musical Front Page Flo. The show will open at the Charles R. Wood Theater, located at 207 Glen Street in downtown Glens Falls, and run on August 3rd, 4th, and 7th-9th. Performances will start at 7:30pm and will include a matinee at 2pm on August 8th. Notable Sonnet readers this year include Michael Urie, Dana Ivey, Brian Soliwoda as C.P. Shakes and Perdita, the pigeon, Peter Francis James, American painter Gerri Davis and Award-winning Orchestrator Michael Starobin. The Sonnet Slam features 154 readers of all ages performing all 154 of Shakespeare's Sonnets in numerical order. The event is free to the public. This year, the kickoff Reader for Sonnet #1 will be Tony Award-nominee and Drama Desk-winner Kathleen Chalfant (Angels in America, Wit, Showtime's The Affair).
