Theater Resources Unlimited (TRU) will be hosting their annual TRU Tony Award Party / Fundraiser on Sunday, June 11, 2017 beginning at 7pm at Jack Doyle's Pub & Restaurant, 240 W. 35th Street, NYC.

The Broadway Artists Connection (BAC) presents Broadway Artists & Friends Open Mic & Mingle hosted by eight time Broadway Veteran & comedian J. Elaine Marcos on Monday, October 10th at 7pm (doors open at 6pm). The evening will be kicked off by a stellar line up of Broadway pros (listed below) followed by selected artists at the legendary Laurie Beechman Theatre, 407 W 42nd St.

Barrymore Winner Tom McCarthy and daughter Kelly create a dramatic piece of work that everyone can relate to.

The York Theatre Company and its acclaimed Developmental Reading Series, will present the premiere of two new musicals: Monet, with Book by Joan Ross Sorkin and Music & Lyrics by Carmel Owen, and Goodbye Barcelona, written by Judith Johnson and K.S. Lewkowicz at The York Theatre Company at Saint Peter's (Entrance on East 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue). The readings are open to the public with a suggested donation of $5.00.

The stage directions for the musical don't say that it should be performed at Music Theatre of Connecticut's 45-seat theater in Westport, but maybe they should. The intimate space and wonderful circus-tent-themed backdrop by scenic designer Carl Tallent are the perfect setting for the one-piano musical.
