OVO’s Roman Theatre, the oldest producing theatre in the UK, will celebrate the tenth edition of its annual open-air summer festival with an incredible line-up of theatre and music. Renowned for its bold and imaginative spins on classic plays and stories, this landmark year will present brand-new adaptions of English classics as well as the return of some iconic audience favourites from OVO and visiting companies. 

Following a sell-out debut tour this February, the team behind the award-winning, critically acclaimed, Spotify podcast JaackMaate's Happy Hour, are extending their smash hit across the UK with the The Round Sheep Tour.

Jack Dean & Company are to return in Spring with their high-intensity cinematic theatre experience, which reimagines the little-known historical tale of Erik the Red.

JaackMaate's Happy Hour is preparing to embark on their first live UK tour. The Round Sheep Tour kicks off in Birmingham on the 1st February 2023 and concludes at Theatre Royal Norwich on 17th February.

After delighting audiences of all ages on a 2021 UK tour, Jack Dean & Company are back with their gig-theatre retelling of the Greek myth Hero & Leander, staged in their own bandstand.

Following the success of last summer’s spectacular event, Bath’s Garden Theatre Festival is back in Bath for the second year running. 

Inspired by the Viking sagas of Erik the Red and his family, Vinland retells the incredible little-known historical tale of the Vikings last journey to North America, where they lived for a short time in the early 11th century, nearly 500 years before any other Europeans. 

Pupils from schools in Plymouth have had a slice of the action in helping to devise and create a brand-new theatre production, The Pizza Inspector. And, to top it all off, they are now getting the chance to see the play performed live by professional actors.

Exeter Northcott Futures is a programme of support and professional development resources for theatre-makers in the South West. Now in its second year the Futures programme works with early-career artists, producers and local companies to ensure that Devon is a place in which theatre-makers can develop their creative practice and pursue a career in the arts.

Norfolk & Norwich Festival has today announced the full programme for its 2018 Festival (11 - 27 May). The programme, which spans performance, theatre, music, visual arts, literature, circus, outdoor and family events, includes world and UK premieres, one-off spectaculars, and a host of free events across the Festival. The Festival will showcase renowned international artists from across the globe and countries as widespread as Syria, Australia and India, alongside the best local Norfolk and UK talent presented across the county, from Norwich city centre and Great Yarmouth to Wells-next-the-Sea.
