Staged Reading of THE SCHMIDT SISTERS to Play Spark Theatre Festival Next Month

Emerging Artists Theatre will present The Schmidt Sisters: A Revolutionary Situation written or choreographed by Rebecca Farley (book), Margo Hera (lyrics), and Blake Pilger (music) and directed by Emmie D'Amico. The staged reading takes place on September 18th 7pm and is part of the 2024 Fall Spark Theatre Festival NYC.

THE BEAUTIFUL AND DAMNED Comes to Old Westbury Gardens

OLD WESTBURY GARDENS presents F. Scott Fitzgerald's The Beautiful and Damned in concert on June 9th and 10th, at 7:30pm. The show premiered last year at the Landmark Theatre and recently performed at the Tony-Award Winning cabaret venue 54 Below in Manhattan.

Next week, 54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club & Private Event Destination, presents some of the brightest stars from Broadway, cabaret, jazz, and beyond. A recipient of the 2022 Tony Awards Honor for Excellence in the Theatre, 54 Below celebrates Broadway musicals and writers of the past and present, promoting an ongoing engagement with their work.

KING LEAR to Open at Stag & Lion Theatre Company Tonight

STAG & LION Theatre Company will present King Lear at the Trinity Theatre. A story as much about politics and power as it is about old age and family resonates today as it did then. Performances begin September 29th and run Thursday-Saturday at 7pm until October 15th with 3pm matinees on Sunday, October 2 and 9, 2022.

Student Blog: The Future of Theatre...?

It has officially been an entire year since the world shut down and the pandemic altered the way our society functions. It feels as if all of this madness had only just begun a few months ago. I remember being on my spring break last year receiving the unfortunate email stating that school would be moved online for the remainder of the spring semester. It was as if time had stopped and the only thought on my mind was: “What’s next?”
