Writers Theatre Artistic Director Michael Halberstam and Executive Director Kathryn M. Lipuma announce a reunion of the original company of TREVOR the musical. The reunion will be presented in four weekly video installments on Writers Theatre's official Facebook page and YouTube Channel beginning Wednesday, November 18 at 7pm.

The Show Will Go On! promises to be an evening of joy featuring more than 60 of Chicagoland's best young professional actors covering their favorite musical theatre songs. Chicago-area theatres have been hit hard by the Covid-19 pandemic with many shows not set to open until 2021.

Now in its 42nd year at Goodman Theatre, A Christmas Carol plays November 16 - December 29. Under Artistic Associate Henry Wishcamper's direction for the seventh year, the annual production features Chicago actor Larry Yando, who leads the 25-member cast as the irascible businessman Ebenezer Scrooge. Joining Yando is Paris Strickland, 12, who reprises her role as Tiny Tim for the third year along with a host of returning favorites and eight newcomers; a complete cast list appears below. The new young performers in A Christmas Carol, cast from hundreds of Chicagoland youth who auditioned, include Jillian-Giselle Fabulous, 11, as Emily Cratchit, Isabel Kaegi, 17, as Belinda Cratchit; Vikram Konkimalla, 7, as Tiny Tim Alternate; and returning young performers include Asher Alcantara, 14, as Boy Scrooge; Nelson Simmons, 12, as Turkey Child.

Award-winning Theatre Nebula opens a limited engagement run of Duncan Sheik and Steven Sater's musical, Spring Awakening at The Cutting Hall Performing Arts Center, 150 E Wood St, Palatine, IL 60067, Saturday, March 2 through Sunday, March 24, 2019. Tickets are on sale now at theatrenebula.org or cuttinghall.org.  Advance tickets are $20 for Adults, $16 for Students and Seniors. If purchased at the door one hour prior to the performance, each ticket is $2 more. The production is directed by Marc Bruni (Beautiful: The Carole King Musical on Broadway), with book and lyrics by Dan Collins, music by Julianne Wick Davis, music direction by Matt Deitchman, orchestrations by Greg Pliska and choreography by Josh Prince, by special arrangement with U Rock Theatricals. TREVOR the musical runs August 9 - September 17, 2017 in the Alexandra C. and John D. Nichols Theatre at 325 Tudor Court, Glencoe. The Press Opening is Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at 7:30 pm
