All new rehearsal photos have been released for this summer’s new production of Hello, Dolly!, as one of the most iconic musicals of all time comes to The London Palladium.

Actor Andy Nyman took to social media on Monday to reveal that he will be playing the role of Governor Thropp in the upcoming Wicked movie. In the musical, Thropp is the 'father' of Elphaba and Nessarose and the governor of Munchkinland. He appears in the opening number 'No One Mourns the Wicked,' which serves as a flashback of Elphaba's birth.

Following Imelda Staunton's recent statements about a third Downton Abbey film, it has been confirmed that another installment in the franchise is indeed happening. Simon Curtis is returning to direct after helming 2022’s Downton Abbey: A New Era, and much of the original cast is returning, along with some new additions.

From the 15 July – 31 August, the London Palladium will be launching exclusive backstage tours allowing audiences to experience areas of the ‘home of variety’ normally not accessible to the public and learn about the theatre’s rich history.  

Imelda Staunton has confirmed that a final Downton Abbey film is in the works. Written by Julian Fellowes – who wrote the book for musicals like Mary Poppins and School of Rock – Downton Abbey has starred Harry Hadden-Paton, Elizabeth McGovern, Brendan Coyle, Dan Stevens, Maggie Smith, Dominic West, and more.
