PS21/Performance Spaces For The 21st Century Announces 2023 Summer Season

PS21/PERFROMANCE SPACES FOR THE 21ST CENTURY, a state-of-the art venue on 100 acres of unspoiled meadows, trails, and woodlands in the heart of the Hudson Valley has announced their 2023 SUMMER SEASON, which runs June 1 through October 21, featuring more than 40 events in our open-air Pavilion Theater, in the fields and meadows, and throughout the region.

Dada Masilo Brings THE SACRIFICE to Milton Keynes Theatre This Month

South African choreographer Dada Masilo's reimagining of Giselle was a huge success on a Dance Consortium tour of the UK in 2019. This year they present her latest work, The Sacrifice, inspired by Pina Bausch's The Rite of Spring and Igor Stravinsky's monumental score coming to Milton Keynes Theatre 17 & 18 March.

Thomas Adès and Earl Lee to Lead Boston Symphony Orchestra Concerts This Spring

BSO Artistic Partner from 2018 to 2021, composer/conductor/pianist Thomas Adès returns to Symphony Hall to lead a program featuring the Inferno Suite and Paradiso from his recent composition The Dante Project, a three-part ballet score from 2021 based on Dante Alighieri’s 14th-century Italian epic Commedia.

Michael Tilson Thomas Returns to the New York Philharmonic To Conduct MEDITATIONS ON RILKE and Schubert's Symphony No. 9

Michael Tilson Thomas returns to conduct the New York Philharmonic March 9–12 in four concerts, highlighted by the New York premiere of his Meditations on Rilke. Mezzo-soprano Sasha Cooke, who premiered and recorded the cycle with Tilson Thomas and the San Francisco Symphony in 2019, and bass-baritone Dashon Burton are featured soloists. Also on the program is Schubert's Symphony No. 9, Great. 

New World Symphony Presents I DREAM A WORLD: THE HARLEM RENAISSANCE IN EUROPE

New World Symphony announces I Dream a World: The Harlem Renaissance in Europe. Taking place from February 3-15, 2023, this multi-disciplinary Festival builds on 2022's inaugural I Dream a World Festival and underlines New World Symphony's ongoing commitment to inclusive programming and representation of Black musicians and creatives.

Dada Masilo's THE SACRIFICE Comes to Sadler's Wells in February

Award-winning South African choreographer Dada Masilo's re-imagining of Giselle was a huge hit in 2019. On 24 and 25 February, Masilo and her company of incredible dancers return to Sadler's Wells to give the London premiere of her latest work The Sacrifice, inspired by Igor Stravinsky's monumental score and Pina Bausch's seminal The Rite of Spring.
