Kokandy Productions has announced casting for its revival of Stephen Sondheim’s macabre masterpiece Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, playing September 8–November 6, 2022 at The Chopin Theatre.

How do you take a brilliant piece of classic musical theatre and improve upon it? Orlando’s New Generation Theatrical's production of SWEENEY TODD, does this by breaking down the typical stage barriers and immersing the audience in the material, creating a fresh (and fantastic) production.

Kokandy Productions will continue its 10th anniversary season with a revival of Stephen Sondheim's macabre masterpiece Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, featuring music and lyrics by Sondheim, book by Hugh Wheeler, direction and choreography by Producing Artistic Director Derek Van Barham (he/him) and music direction by Nick Sula (he/him).

Sondheim's macabre musical Sweeney Todd, arrives in Brazil. The show opened on March in Sao Paulo for a short season and takes place on the 033 Rooftop of Teatro Santander. With direction by Ze Henrique de Paula, the Brazilian production stars Rodrigo Lombardi (Sweeney), Andrezza Massei (Mrs. Lovett), and Mateus Ribeiro (Tobias Ragg).

The Tony Award- winning Trinity Repertory Company has announced the company’s 59th season. The 2022-23 Season, which includes a five-show subscription series and an annual reimagining of A Christmas Carol, begins in September and concludes in June.
