Great Canadian Theatre Company, CKCU-FM, and CHUO-FM proudly present FemmeVox, a series of concerts and artist-led workshops celebrating established and emerging female or female-identifying talent, and promoting mentorship among its artists. With one preview and three gala performances under their belts, the cast of the 19th Annual GCTC/CCLA Lawyer Play have cause to celebrate. With combined gross revenue from sponsorships and ticket sales, this year's Lawyer Play - The Rule of Three by Agatha Christie - exceeded all of its fundraising targets, raising $140,000 in funds to support GCTC and this year's charity partner, Tungasuvvingat Inuit. At 6:00pm this evening, Artistic Director Eric Coates, Managing Director Hugh Neilson and associated artists took to the stage at the Irving Greenberg Theatre Centre to introduce GCTC's new season for 2015-2016.
