Angourie Rice, Auli’i Cravalho, Jaquel Spivey and Reneé Rapp have joined the cast of the Mean Girls movie musical. The film adaptation of Mean Girls the Musical will be directed by Arturo Perez Jr. and Samantha Jayne and was written by Tina Fey, with music by Jeff Richmond and lyrics by Nell Benjamin.

Registration is open now! Art Center Sarasota is once again encouraging young children and teens to set their inner artists free at its summertime art camps. The 10 weekly sessions run May 31 to August 5. The programs target two different age groups: Creative Kids serves children, ages 6 to10; Emerging Arts is for aspiring artists, ages 11 to 15. The camps are Mondays through Fridays, 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
