Roundabout Theatre Company has just  announced Tony & Emmy Award winner Tyne Daly and Tony & SAG Award winner Liev Schreiber will star in the new Broadway production of John Patrick Shanley’s Tony Award & Pulitzer Prize-winning play Doubt: A Parable, with direction by Tony Award nominee Scott Ellis.

YIPPIE FEST (www.yippiefest.com) will return with its seventh annual “happening” of acts on stage for three days – August 4th to the 6th, 2023 – presenting theater, performance, and more LIVE and IN PERSON at PRIDE ARTS, 4139 N. Broadway, Chicago. YIPPIE FEST began in 2017 as an event inspired by the Abbie Hoffman Died for Our Sins Festival (1989-2016). YIPPIE FEST 2023 comes together for the 7th time, two of them virtually during COVID. 

This September, Park Avenue Armory presents the world premiere of Doppelganger, a bespoke Armory commission that reimagines Franz Schubert's rarely staged song cycle Schwanengesang (“Swan Song”) as a multi-dimensional theatrical performance directed by Claus Guth, one of opera's most adventurous directors, and performed by renowned tenor Jonas Kaufmann with pianist Helmut Deutsch.

Verb, “Ohio Contemporary Ballet' has announced its highly anticipated summer performance season taking place across the Great Lakes region. This captivating series of performances will showcase a diverse range of works, including both classical and contemporary ballet masterpieces.

In two weeks, TOOTSIE, the hilarious Tony Award-winning musical, is coming to Overture Center for the Arts for a limited one-week engagement from Tuesday, June 13 to Sunday, June 18 in Overture Hall.

The Tony Awards Administration Committee has announced that based on the recommendation by the American Theatre Critics Association, Pasadena Playhouse, in Pasadena, California, will be the recipient of the 2023 Regional Theatre Tony Award. The honor is accompanied by a grant of $25,000, made possible by City National Bank's generous support. 

Goodspeed Musicals has announced the cast for the world premiere musical comedy Summer Stock, the second production of its 60th anniversary season. Filled with exuberant dance numbers and hits from the American songbook, it is adapted from the MGM/Warner Bros. film Summer Stock and will appear on the Goodspeed stage from July 7 – August 27 in East Haddam, Connecticut.

Philadelphia Ballet has announced its Fourth Annual Spring Festival at Red Rose Farm, an outdoor ballet tradition, taking place June 1 - 3 in Villanova, PA.

Esteemed Washington theatre artists Naomi Jacobson, Erika Rose, Holly Twyford, and Christopher Michael Richardson hosted an evening showcasing the vibrant and diverse community of professional theatre artists in the Washington region.

The Highland Park Players theater company has announced the cast and production team for the upcoming production of the Tony Award-winning musical 'Kinky Boots.' This exhilarating show, filled with toe-tapping music and a heartwarming story, will captivate audiences at the brand new McGrath Family Performing Arts Center, 1100 Laramie Ave, Wilmette, IL.
