The Onassis Foundation announced the full schedule of events comprising the multi-disciplinary, multi-venue 'Archive of Desire': A Festival Inspired by the Poet C. P. Cavafy, which is presented in collaboration with National Sawdust and takes place April 28 through May 6, 2023, with special offerings throughout April.

The Wayward Artist has announced the West Coast Premiere of In The Green by Grace McClean. Performances start April 14, 2023 and will continue through April 30th at the Grand Central Art Center in Santa Ana.   

San Diego Opera’s 2022-2023 Season will continue with Puccini’s Tosca on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at the San Diego Civic Theatre for four performances.

The Handel and Haydn Society announces its 2023-24 season, the first under new Artistic Director Jonathan Cohen. Cohen is just the 15th to hold that position in Handel and Haydn Society's 209 years and has selected an eclectic group of works for the season's eleven concerts.

Ultimately, Hildegard von Bingen is incredibly confusing and very unsatisfying for those hoping to learn more about the brilliant woman that Hildegard was. As someone who studied her music and her life, I was hoping to see a more psychological look at the woman, not images of Hildegard curled up in a ball muttering to herself.
