Today, producers Eden Espinosa, Bridget Elise Yingling, Scott Prisand, Doug Feurring and Jana Shea announced additional stars for the one-night-only 15th Anniversary reunion concert of BKLYN: The Musical. Tony Award nominee Will Swenson (Hair, Les Miserables) will reprise his role as Taylor Collins, and Grammy Award nominee Quentin Earl Darrington (Once On This Island, CATS) will play the role of Streetsinger. Original Broadway cast members Julie Reiber (Come From Away), Horace V. Rogers (Tarzan), Caren Lyn Tackett (High Fidelity) will complete the cast, joining the previously announced Eden Espinosa (RENT, Wicked) as Brooklyn, Karen Olivo (Moulin Rouge, In the Heights) as Faith, and stage star Ramona Keller (The Public Theatre's Hercules, City Center's Little Shop of Horrors) as Paradice. The concert, which benefits Covenant House Foundation (www.covenanthouse.org), will be presented on the 15th anniversary of the show's Broadway opening night, Monday, October 21 at 7:30 PM, at Brooklyn Steel (319 Frost Street, Brooklyn, NY 11222). For all its flaws, Brooklyn - The Musical features great songs sung by great singers. What more can one ask for really?

It's press night tonight for the eagerly awaited UK premiere of BROOKLYN THE MUSICAL at Greenwich Theatre.

'West End Does' has announced, following a terrifyingly terrific Halloween Concert last year at the Fortune Theatre, that 'West End Does: Halloween' is back for its second year on Sunday 27th October (2pm & 6pm). With a Magical theme this time round, and an all star cast including John Owen-Jones (Les Mis, Phantom); Trevor Dion Nicholas (Genie - Aladdin, West End); Carrie Hope-Fletcher (Heathers, Les Mis); Hiba Elchikhe (Aladdin Int. Tour, Fiver) & Rob Houchen (The light in the Piazza), this promises to be a unique and memorable event.

Charlotte Kennedy, most recently seen as Cosette in the West End Production of Les Miserables, joined Caroline Kay on stage to sing an original take 'You're The Top' by Cole Porter.

Earlier this week, Caroline Kay performed her fifth solo concert to a full house at the beautiful Crazy Coqs as part of the Unplugged festival - newly devised by Shaun McCourt. The festival gives musical theatre performers who also write an opportunity and platform to share their original material.

The Southwark Playhouse has made a name for itself in featuring new musicals and inventive revivals. It's a venue that provides a platform for productions that are lesser-known, but have the potential to go further and I suspect with Fiver, they have an uncontested hit on their hands.

Brooklyn the Musical, with a book, lyrics, and music by Mark Schoenfeld and Barri McPherson, will run at Greenwich Theatre from Friday 27 September - Saturday 19 October, 2019. Press night is Monday 30 September at 7,30pm.

In the sleeve for his debut album Only Dreaming Matt Croke writes: 'as a small boy I always loved listening to albums - I dreamt and hoped that one day I would be lucky enough to actually make one myself. Years later… here it is.' Currently playing the titular role in the West End production of Aladdin, Croke's Only Dreaming is a celebration of roles and songs he knows and loves, some roles he has played, other's perhaps to come. What is for sure though, is that the whole album shines with an infinitely likeable charm and ease.

Matt Croke, currently starring in the title role of Disney's stage musical ALADDIN, will release his debut album, ONLY DREAMING, on Friday 7th of December (digitally) and Friday 14th of December on CD.

Auburn Jam Records has released the concept album of major new musical Broken Wings, an autobiographical tale of tragic love based on Lebanese-born poet Kahlil Gibran's 1912 masterpiece. The show is written by West End star Nadim Naaman (The Phantom of the Opera) and Dana Al Fardan, one of The Middle East's leading contemporary composers, and with orchestrations by Joe Davison.
