New York City's leading chamber choir, Musica Viva NY, continues its 2022-23 concert series with THE SORROW AND THE BEAUTY: a one-night only performance March 12, 2023, at 5:00 p.m., at All Souls Church on the Upper East Side.

The evening was kicked off with a red carpet featuring the show’s cast and creative team, including the six Las Vegas company members who have lead dancer roles in the film: Anton Engel, Jackson Williams, JD Rainey, Patrick Packing, Ryan Carlson, and Sebastian Gonzalez. Marc Platt has announced that La La Land will be adapted into a Broadway musical directed by Bartlett Sher. The musical will feature music from the film's composer, Justin Hurwitz and lyrics by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul. The book will be written by Ayad Akhtar and Matthew Decker.
