The Latinx Theatre Commons has announced the participants selected for the 2023 LTC Designer & Director Colaboratorio which takes place from 28 June - 2 July, 2023 in Portland, Oregon. Colaboratorio is hosted by Northwest Children's Theatre, Portland State University, and World Stage Theatre.

This was the third and final time this season that the Tony Awards Administration Committee met to decide the eligibility for the 76th Annual Tony Awards. The Tony Awards are presented by The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing.

New York City Center has announced additional casting for Encores! The Light in the Piazza. Joining Tony winner Ruthie Ann Miles are Shereen Ahmed as Franca Naccarelli, Andréa Burns as Signora Naccarelli, Rodd Cyrus as Giuseppe Naccarelli, James D. Gish as Fabrizio Naccarelli, Ivan Hernandez as Signor Naccarelli, and introducing Anna Zavelson as Clara Johnson.

Second Stage Theater has announced that Larissa FastHorse's play, THE THANKSGIVING PLAY, directed by Tony Award-winner Rachel Chavkin, has extended one week and will now run through Sunday, June 11. THE THANKSGIVING PLAY opened on April 20 at Second Stage's Hayes Theater (240 West 44th Street).

​​​​​​Ucross today announced that Anne Pendergast of Big Horn, Wyoming, has joined the artist residency program's Board of Trustees. Born and raised in Maine, Pendergast earned a BA from Bowdoin College and an MS in geology from Oregon State University, then moved to Wyoming in 1983 to work with an oil and gas exploration company in Casper. She served on the Board of Trustees for The Nature Conservancy Wyoming for 16 years and the National Advisory Council for The Brinton Museum for six years.
