Eisemann Center Presents MANDY HARVEY AND BAND with the UT Dallas Choirs at the Eisemann Center, 2351 Performance Drive in Richardson, Texas on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at 7:30 pm in the Hill Performance Hall. This event is presented in Partnership with the UT Dallas School of Arts & Humanities. Mandy Harvey is a deaf American singer-songwriter. A Vocal Music Education major at Colorado State University, Mandy lost her residual hearing in 2006-2007 at age eighteen due to a connective tissue disorder and left the program. She pursued several career options, including education, but returned to music in 2008.

In 2019, Brooklyn indie-punk/grunge darlings Pom Pom Squad released their emotionally charged sophomore EP Ow, and today they're sharing their dynamic take on FKA twigs' “Cellophane.” Of the cover, frontwoman Mia Berrin says, “I know I'm not alone in saying that 'Cellophane' was one of my absolute favorite songs of last year... I've been a fan of twigs since I was in high school and heard 'Hide' off of EP1. She was one of the first artists that made me seen as a woman of color occupying an alternative space, and I could immediately hear myself in the sweeping ebbs and flows of this song.”

Netflix has released the trailer for Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Part 3. Part Three finds Sabrina reeling from the harrowing events of Part Two. Though she defeated her father Lucifer, the Dark Lord remains trapped within the human prison of her beloved boyfriend, Nicholas Scratch. Sabrina can't live with herself, knowing that Nick made the ultimate sacrifice and is suffering, burning in Hell under Madam Satan's watchful eye. Author, filmmaker and producer Tamara Saviano and co-producer and co-director Paul Whitfield announce the world premiere of “Without Getting Killed or Caught,” their remarkable documentary film about the complicated relationship among legendary songwriters Guy Clark, Susanna Clark and Townes Van Zandt, and the art it inspired. Ronan Farrow & Loki Films Investigating Threats Against Journalists For New HBO Documentary

HBO is in production on the first project in its multi-film deal with best-selling author and Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Ronan Farrow. Farrow will collaborate with Academy Award nominated directors Heidi Ewing and Rachel Grady of Loki Films to investigate threats, intimidation and violence directed at journalists working to expose corruption and abuse by governments, corporations and other powerful interests. The film will follow subjects in the United States and internationally.

At the height of the Space Race, Cobb and her female peers in the Mercury 13 program trained to become astronauts, ready to join their male counterparts in space and change history, but they never got the chance. A favorite from TheatreWorks Silicon Valley's 2018 New Works Festival, They Promised Her The Moon will be directed by TheatreWorks Artistic Associate and Director of New Works Giovanna Sardelli.
