The 77th Annual Theatre World Awards Ceremony will take place on Monday evening, June 5, 2023 beginning at 7:00PM. The Theatre World Awards are the oldest awards given for Outstanding Broadway and Off-Broadway Debut Performances.

Productions and plays from Ireland face off against several homegrown New York productions as the 12th annual Origin 1st Irish Theatre Festival hands out its awards at a closing night ceremony at Rosie O'Grady's Manhattan Club, 800 Seventh Avenue, on Monday February 3 at 6:30pm.

Direct from Dublin, the sharp-aimed soccer-culture comedy a?oeAppropriatea?? arrives for its US premiere as part of the 2020 Origin 1st Irish Festival. The very limited engagement running from January 27 to February 2 at the New York Irish Center, 10-40 Jackson Avenue, in Long Island City plays 7 performances from Monday January 27 to Sunday February 2. The show opens officially on Monday January 27 at 8pm.

Jonathan Hadary has received the annual St. Clair Bayfield Award presented by the Actors' Equity Foundation for his performance as Sicinius Velutus in The Public Theatre's Shakespeare in the Park Coriolanus. Danielle Brooks and John Keating have been selected to receive the 2019 Joe A. Callaway Award presented by the Actors' Equity Foundation. The award, honoring the best performance in a professional production of a classic play (one written prior to World War ll) in the New York metropolitan area, will be presented at Actors' Equity Association's Eastern Regional Membership Meeting at 2 pm on Monday January 13, 2020 at the Equity offices, 165 West 46th Street in New York.
