The Tony Award-winning, record-breaking hit musical Chicago celebrates its 23rd Broadway anniversary tomorrow, Thursday, November 14th. The production is now playing at Broadway's Ambassador Theatre (219 W. 49th St.).

Thomas G. Waites' rocking adaptation of one of Shakespeare's rarely-performed comedies will play its final three performances this weekend. The hippie lovefest of this re-worked Love's Labour's Lost continues at the Gene Frankel Theatre (24 Bond Street, between Lafayette and Bowery) from October 24-26 at 8pm. The production, featuring a cast full of bright young talent, is made possible with the generous support of The Jeff Hunter Charitable Trust. The Brent Shapiro Foundation for Drug Prevention celebrated its highly anticipated Summer Spectacular on Saturday, September 21st. The invitation-only gala marked the 14th year of the foundation. Directed by William Dickerson and based on his book of the same name, NO ALTERNATIVE is a teen drama that drills a hole into the world of suburban American teenagers in the early '90s and is set against a backdrop steeped in grunge and punk rock music. NO ALTERNATIVE is Dickerson's fourth feature film, the others being Detour, The Mirror and Don't Look Back.   

After fantastic audience and critical response, BAREFOOT, a daring new sexual escapade by Kate T. Billingsley and Thomas G. Waites, will extend through March 2 at the Gene Frankel Theatre when it began performances on January 24. BAREFOOT is produced by Black Rose Productions and directed by Thomas G. Waites (Awake and Sing! with Frances McDormand, Al Pacino's King Richard III).

The cast of “L.A. Law” reunites on “The Talk” for the first time in nearly 25 years. Actor Harry Hamlin discusses the show earning four Emmy Awards for Best Drama, and shares what the cast was gifted when they won the second time. 'They were pretty cheap, in fact, and I can prove it. We won the Emmy for Best Drama four times, now, today when you win an Emmy for Best Drama the actors usually get a lot of accolades, the studio really appreciates them. For our second Emmy this is what we got [holds up a silver engraved keychain]. It didn't come with the key; it just was the keychain! Nowadays when you win the Emmy for Best Drama, you get the car too.'

Mixing a modern love story with fact-based historical drama, Love, Genius and a Walk continues its London pub theatre tour in October with dates at the Drayton Arms and Etcetera Theatre. Directed by Holly Payne-Strange and written by award-winning author and playwright Gay Walley, this new play examines the story of Gustav Mahler, his wife Alma, and how stories like theirs affect the world today.
