The Eurovision Song Contest has created many a musical theatre star, but Sweden have been delighted for 14 years by commentary from a powerhouse of Swedish theatre, TV and film. I spoke with writer, director and TV star Edward af Sillén about his career and love for the contest.

The Eurovision Song Contest is the world’s biggest music celebration. Many of the artists who have taken the iconic stage have also tread the boards of musical theatre. Let’s celebrate some of those Eurotastic thespians.

The global stage sensation created and directed by Channing Tatum, MAGIC MIKE LIVE is bringing its magic to the Dallas-Fort Worth area for a limited engagement for five weeks only starting May 11.

Writing the track with Scott Harris (Camila Cabello, Shawn Mendes) and Annika Bennett along with Grammy Award winning producer Federico Vindver (Coldplay, Meghan Trainor), “Can I Jump?” was inspired by the biggest of decisions - the prospect of getting married to her partner after an on/off/on relationship which started when she was 19-years-old.

Global leader in comedy, Just For Laughs, in collaboration with leading live entertainment company, AEG Presents, and The O2, the world’s most popular music, leisure and entertainment venue, has released photos from the first day of programming the latest of the inaugural Just For Laughs LONDON festival, which is currently taking place through 5th March 2023 at The O2.

The release is accompanied by the music video for “Freezing,” one of the new tracks off the record. Directed by Drew Kirsch, the stunning visual brings the lyrics to life as Mimi journeys through the process of leaving her past relationship, rediscovering her happiness, and moving forward with confidence.

Miranda Hart has joined the line-up for Just For Laughs LONDON festival which kicks off this Thursday 2nd March until Sunday 5th March. Miranda will be joining Richard Curtis live on stage on Sunday 5th March at indigo at The O2 as part of Comic Relief The Truth & Everything Except The Truth.

The star-studded team hosting the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest from Liverpool to audiences across the world has been announced.

Mimi Webb releases “Roles Reversed,' the new track off her forthcoming debut album. Mimi’s vocals are filled with emotion as she takes the listener on a journey of hurt and being left behind. The song was written by Mimi Webb, Connor McDonough, Riley McDonough, Toby McDonough, Ryan Daly, CASTLE and produced by Connor McDonough & Ryan Daly.

Adding to the anticipation of her forthcoming Blood Orange album, “Face in The Crowd” is a heartfelt confession in which Freya bares her soul, the rich timbre of her voice overflowing with loss and heartbreak in one of the closest songs to her heart from Blood Orange.

Caroline Leslie’s irresistible production of Mark Evans’ glorious comedy mash-up Bleak Expectations will open in preview at the Criterion Theatre from 3 May. Tom Allen, Adjoa Andoh, Alexander Armstrong, Jo Brand, Jack Dee, Stephen Fry, Nish Kumar, Lee Mack, Stephen Mangan, Ben Miller and Sue Perkins are all confirmed to appear.

The evening was kicked off with a red carpet featuring the show’s cast and creative team, including the six Las Vegas company members who have lead dancer roles in the film: Anton Engel, Jackson Williams, JD Rainey, Patrick Packing, Ryan Carlson, and Sebastian Gonzalez.
