Seeing Glen Phillips at the Dakota Jazz Club on February 23 felt easy in the best way. No production, no band, no big entrance. It was just him, a guitar, and a room full of people who really wanted to be there.

​Men at Work and Toad the Wet Sprocket will be live in concert at The BayCare Sound with special guest Shonen Knife.

Glen Phillips has spent nearly forty years writing songs that balance melodic warmth with emotional honesty. As the lead singer and primary songwriter of Toad the Wet Sprocket, he helped define the band’s enduring folk-pop sound, while also building a varied solo career and collaborating on projects ranging from Mutual Admiration Society (with members of Nickel Creek) to the experimental Remote Tree Children.

Toad The Wet Sprocket continue to uplift audiences with their melodic alt rock guitars, introspective lyrics, and signature vocal harmonies on the 2025 Good Intentions U.S. headlining tour. Check out the tour dates here!

The 15-date trek kicks off Thursday, August 1 in Wisconsin and will see the “Hey Jealousy” and “Walk On the Ocean” hitmakers, respectively, take amphitheaters and theater stages across the Midwest and East Coast. Additionally, they'll be joined by special guest alternative rockers Vertical Horizon, the multi-platinum band.

Mountain Stage Radio Show is set to kick off their 40th anniversary celebration at 5:00 PM on Sunday, January 15th, 2023 with a live press conference, which is open to the public, in the Culture Center Theater Lobby. In contrast, There Is So Much Here finds Phillips writing love songs again focusing on gratitude, beauty and staying present. This collection of songs documents a shift of perspective from dealing with loss to an appreciation of life.
