Después De 167 Años, La ópera Giovanna D'Arco, De Giuseppe Verdi, Vuelve A México Con Una Nueva Producción

After 167 years, Giuseppe Verdi's opera Giovanna d'Arco returns to Mexico with a new production. The Secretaría de Cultura del Gobierno de México and the Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes y Literatura (Inbal) will present the premiere of Giovanna d'Arco at the Compañía Nacional de Ópera. The cast includes Ramón Vargas, Karen Gardeazabal, Mihai Damian, Alejandro López, and Alberto Galicia.

Opera San José's 40th anniversary season continues with a thrilling production of Verdi's Rigoletto. Boasting some of opera's most memorable music, including the signature aria “La donna è mobile,” this gripping work follows the jester Rigoletto, his innocent daughter Gilda, and the corrupt Duke of Mantua whose callous treatment of women launches a storm of vengeance, murder, and tragic self-sacrifice.

New Music Festival Set to Make LGBTQ+ History
