Exvotos mexicanos, siglos XIX al XXI, el cual se presentará este 22 de julio, a las 12:00 horas, en el Museo Casa Estudio Diego Rivera y Frida Kahlo.

The Academy of Gregory Hancock Dance Theatre is offering two Open House events to provide an opportunity for prospective dancers to see what the school is all about. The two Open House events will be at the academy's location at 329 Gradle Drive in Carmel, IN. 

Para conmemorar el 118 aniversario del natalicio del arquitecto y pintor Juan O'Gorman, el Museo Casa Estudio Diego Rivera y Frida Kahlo del Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes y Literatura (Inbal) realizó la conferencia Habitar el mundo interior. Vida y obra de Juan O'Gorman, a cargo de Liliana Carachure, quien ofreció un estudio sobre la biografía y los principios que rigieron el trabajo pictórico y arquitectónico del artista.

La Secretaría de Cultura del Gobierno de México y el Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes y Literatura (Inbal), a través del Museo de Arte Moderno (MAM), recinto de la Red de Museos del Inbal, presentan la exposición Eje Neovolcánico. Aproximaciones artísticas al paisaje ígneo, la cual subraya las complejas relaciones que los seres humanos establecen con entidades naturales. Es un acercamiento al extenso legado de representaciones y propuestas artísticas que tienen como motivo el volcán y su potencial simbólico y artístico, desde finales del siglo XIX hasta la actualidad.

San Francisco Opera celebrates Pride month, honoring LGBTQ+ artists, staff, audience and community and the city’s connection to opera. On Thursday, June 22, coinciding with a performance of El último sueño de Frida y Diego (The Last Dream of Frida and Diego). 

Featuring a classic reggae inspired arrangement complete with a lyrical shout out to Bob Marley, the track futhers Cope’s message of positivity and strength through struggle. Here, the track is a tribute to resilient women artists who inspire Cope, containing mentions of Maya Angelou, The I Threes, and Frida Kahlo.

Gregory Glade Hancock and the Gregory Hancock Dance Theatre will be producing The Music of La Casa Azul with The Carmel Symphony Orchestra for one night only! This amazing performance, created by Gregory Glade Hancock himself, is August 5, 2023 at 7 pm at The Palladium at the Center for the Performing Arts in Carmel.

Today’s subject Peter Salem is currently living his theatre life as the composer of Scottish Ballet’s production of The Crucible. The show runs now through May 28th at Kennedy Center in the Eisenhower Theater.
