DIAL 'M' FOR MURDER is surely one of the most perfect productions I’ve seen at The Rep in some years. Jordan Coughtry plays Tony, the scheming husband. His performance is from the Realm of Ideal Forms. It is that perfect!

The Fine Arts Center will unveil its premiere production for the 2024-25 theatre season: the gripping classic, “Dial M for Murder.” This highly anticipated performance will run from September 19 to October 6, 2024, on the FAC mainstage. 

It is a quest to commit the perfect murder, and it almost works. “Dial M For Murder” is the twisted story of a failed novelist who has married an heiress and has decided to do her in to inherit her millions.

The audience I saw DIAL M FOR MURDER with roared to their feet after all was said and done. This is a charming production with plenty of technical eye candy and sublime campy takes on characters. These kinds of shows fit what THE ALLEY THEATRE does best: entertain and thrill us with a summer mystery. Everyone is set to have a marvelously good time.
