PALM BEACH POETRY FESTIVAL Returns To Delray Beach

People's Light Announces Extension Of MUD ROW

After opening to rave reviews in June, the world premiere of Mud Row is extended through August 4th at People's Light. The theatre will host a book signing with playwright Dominique Morisseau in their Steinbright Stage lobby from 1 to 1:30pm before the final 2pm performance on Sunday, August 4th. HBO Drama Series WATCHMEN to Debut In October

et in an alternate history where masked vigilantes are treated as outlaws, WATCHMEN, from executive producer Damon Lindelof (Emmy® winner for “Lost”; HBO's “The Leftovers”) embraces the nostalgia of the original groundbreaking graphic novel of the same name, while attempting to break new ground of its own. Nicole Kassell directs the pilot from a script written by Lindelof.

Production Begins on ENOLA HOLMES Starring Millie Bobby Brown and Henry Cavill

Emmy nominee and BAFTA award winning director Harry Bradbeer (“Fleabag,” “Killing Eve”) has begun production on location in London for the mystery adventure “Enola Holmes,” from Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures. The starring cast is led by Millie Bobby Brown (“Godzilla: King of the Monsters,” “Stranger Things”) in the title role of Sherlock Holmes's much younger—and equally intelligent—sister, Enola. Joining Brown is Henry Cavill (“Mission: Impossible – Fallout,” “Man of Steel,” “The Witcher”) as Sherlock Holmes and Sam Claflin as the eldest of the Holmes siblings, Mycroft Holmes (“The Hunger Games” films, “Me Before You”), as well as two-time Oscar nominee Helena Bonham Carter (“The King's Speech,” “The Wings of the Dove,” the “Harry Potter” films) as the Holmes clan's enigmatic mother, Eudoria. Written by acclaimed screenwriter and playwright Jack Thorne (“Harry Potter and the Cursed Child,” “Wonder”), the film's script is based on the popular Enola Holmes Mysteries book series by Nancy Springer, revealing a dynamic untold chapter in the life of the world's greatest detective and his brilliant family.

If there is a more perfect pooch to portray Annie's Sandy than Rufus Stewart, then his humans should produce said canine for an upcoming production of the beloved Broadway musical post-haste. Until such time as that occurs, we are simply going to claim Rufus as the quintessential canine co-star for any number of red-headed moppets singing about "Tomorrow" while palling around with FDR, Frances Perkins, Harold Ickes and others of their political ilk.
