Brion’s creative work has included film scores for Lady Bird, Punch Drunk Love and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, to collaborations with Aimee Mann, Fiona Apple, Kanye West, Mac Miller and more. The 11-track collection — which includes co-writes with Aimee Mann, Grant Lee Philips and Jeff McGregor and a cover of Cheap Trick’s “Voices.”

Singer-songwriter Gabriella Rose has emerged with her debut single/video “In The Dark.” Blossoming this spring alongside producer Jeffery David (Echosmith, Seal, Zedd, For King & Country, Mat Kearney), Gabriella Rose inked a record deal with the newly launched Coeur D’Alene Records.

Prolific artist, producer and film composer Jon Brion’s creative work has encompassed everything from film scores for movies like Lady Bird, Punch Drunk Love and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, to collaborations with musicians like Aimee Mann, Fiona Apple, Kanye West, Mac Miller and many more.

Building around solid community and great songs, siblings Sara and Sean Watkins began their Watkins Family Hour shows at L.A.'s beloved Largo nightclub two decades ago. Twenty years later, the pair are still pushing the limits of their original vision, consistently inviting new members to the fold to tackle devastatingly good tunes.

From the very beginning of Sara and Sean Watkins’ Watkins Family Hour shows at Los Angeles’s Largo nightclub, their focus has been on musical community; building, sharing, and growing.

With their new album, Vol. II, the Watkins returned to the recording studio with a host of long-time friends and Watkins Family Hour band mates like Jon Brion, Jackson Browne, Madison Cunningham, Lucius, Gaby Moreno, Benmont Tench, and Willie Watson. The group has shared “(Remember Me) I’m the One Who Loves You” from Vol. II.

They announced their signing to Next Door Records, and also shared the new, nostalgic single + video “twinkie.” Produced by Shamir, who also plays guitar and drums on the track, the song is reflective of what poolblood does best – lush and expansive bedroom pop matched with a sensuous and playful visual. 

The deluxe will include the album’s 11 tracks along with three b-sides, “youth of the young,” “interrobang,” and “the sound of holding breath.” The deluxe also features two recently released album track remixes, “i need you (to be wrong),” remixed by the indie-pop group lovelytheband and “wolves,” remixed by indie-rock band, Sir Sly.

Following the announcement that this July she will embark on a tour with The Cult and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club as well as an appearance at Summerfest in Milwaukee, today Danilova has announced her sole US headlining date in 2022, a show at the Lodge Room in Los Angeles on August 6th.

The Texas-based, rising artist Juliana Madrid is releasing her song “Astronaut” including the stop motion animation music video handcrafted by Juliana and Ben Ruttner, before releasing her debut EP this Summer on Neon Gold Records (MARINA, Charli XCX, Christine and the Queens etc).

Queen Kwong (a.k.a. Carré Kwong Callaway) shares her latest single “Without You, Whatever” from her forthcoming Joe Cardamone (The Icarus Line / Dark Mark vs Skeleton Joe) produced album Couples Only, via Sonic Rituall. It follows “On The Run,” which featured keys and synths by Roger O'Donnell (The Cure).

Lauren Monroe - singer, songwriter, and healing artist - announces her third album, Messages from Aphrodite, with the release of the new single, “If You Want.” Co-produced by Monroe with the renowned Jim Scott, “If You Want” features a guest performance from the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Rick Allen, drummer of Def Leppard, and Monroe’s husband and frequent collaborator.

May 6, 2022 - Two-time Grammy Award winning Los Angeles-based band,  OZOMATLI,  continues to release new music in 2022 – “Sunsets,” from the forthcoming album Marching On, is now available on all digital services. Listen to “Sunsets” now. Marching On is their first studio album since the critically acclaimed, 2017 reggae twisted Non-Stop: Mexico to Jamaica in 2017 and marks their debut with new label, Blue Élan Records.  The band is also hitting the road to preview this new music live. 'Peppermint” is written by Juliana Madrid, Benjamin Ruttner (The Knocks), Simon Oscroft (Almost Monday, Naked and Famous), Matthew Koma (Kelly Clarkson, 5SOS, Shania Twain), produced by Benjamin Ruttner and Simon Oscroft and features Matt Chamberlain (Lorde, Fiona Apple, Tori Amos, Zola Jesus, WILLOW etc) on drums.

Zola Jesus releases a new song, “Desire,” the second single from Arkhon, her first album in five years. The single comes with a new video directed by A. F. Cortes. A minimal yet sweeping track, “Desire” features only Danilova and her piano. Watch the music video for the new single now!

Today, emerging artist and poet Ben Zaidi unveils two new tracks from his forthcoming debut album.
