Renowned British artist Aluna has announced a new experience in partnership with leading technology company Pollen Presents. Taking place May 27-30, 2022 in New Orleans, Aluna's Noir Fever will bring together a diverse group of artists to celebrate the Black and LGTBQ+ origins of dance music in a city renowned for Black and brown musical excellence.

The Music Institute of Chicago brings back a holiday tradition with “Duke It Out!,” featuring the classical (Tchaikovsky) and jazz (Duke Ellington/Billy Strayhorn) versions of The Nutcracker in a music and dance performance Saturday, December 11 at 2 p.m. at Nichols Concert Hall, 1490 Chicago Avenue, Evanston.

The Arkansas Repertory Theatre has announced that single tickets are now on sale for A Charlie Brown Christmas. The whole Peanuts gang comes to life in this stage adaptation of the classic TV special, featuring a fantastic, jazz-infused score.

The vinyl box set is spread across eight discs of heavyweight 180 gram vinyl, with each show split between two translucent coloured LPs: June 2nd is red, June 3rd is orange, June 5th is green, and June 6th is blue. It is housed within a beautifully crafted deluxe slipcase box featuring silver foil detail that depicts the Brixton Academy.

David Sedaris has once again selected Seattle as the host city for a week-long series of workshop readings for his upcoming new book of essays. In eight shows over seven consecutive dates, Sedaris will delight Seattle audiences as he polishes the final manuscript for his soon to be-published book, Happy-Go-Lucky, due out in June 2022.

BroadwayWorld is saddened to report that stage and screen actor Val Bisoglio has died at age 95. Val's one Broadway credit was the role of Sgt. Carlino in Wait Until Dark in 1966.

Introducing: Oddkin. Formerly known as Sons Of An Illustrious Father, Oddkin is comprised of multi-instrumentalists and longtime creative collaborators Lilah Larson and Ezra Miller. The band's first song as a duo, entitled “Yada Yada,” has been released on all DSP's today.
