After two years performing his highly praised show, It Was Me, honoring the songbook of famed lyricist Norman Gimbel at New York's Don't Tell Mama, Bistro Award-winning vocalist and BroadwayWorld.com 'Best Male Vocalist' nominee Jeff Macauley presented a new show this past spring at New York's Metropolitan Room. In Mr. Lucky: The Songs of Henry Mancini, Macauley celebrates the music of the iconic composer. Macauley's orchestra for Mr. Lucky is Award-winning Musical Director/pianist and arranger Tex Arnold, with Jon Burr on bass. Now Macauley is bringing Mr. Lucky to Don't Tell Mama on November 21 at 7 pm.

Music superstar Ricky Martin will make his first-ever Paley Center appearance for a special onstage conversation and preview of his new series La Banda at the Univision Fall TV Previews panel on September 10.

LEGALLY BLONDE, the first musical of Albuquerque Little Theatre's 86th Season might sound less amazing than it really is. The musical is based on the popular 2001 film starring Reese Witherspoon (which is based on the novel by Amanda Brown). Like the film, the musical is fun and quirky, only with highly catchy songs and raging choreography.

The exhibition aims to capture the essence of French design of the 1970s, a period in which designers were particularly influenced by the art, craft, architecture, and nomadic cultures of the Arab world. Radical Rabat brings together rare and important works by Sheila Hicks, Michel Boyer, Maria Pergay, and Pierre Paulin – creators who drew inspiration from both the traditions and international cosmopolitan scenes of such places as Morocco, Algeria, and Tunisia.  

CapLive and the historic Strand-Capitol Performing Arts Center in downtown York welcome the Felice Brothers to the Capitol Theatre tonight, June 10 at 8:00 p.m. Known for their wild and intense live shows, the rock and roll band is the newest addition to CapLive's eclectic lineup of nationally-known acts and up-and-coming performers.

Ambassador Theater, with their production of Polish poet Tadeusz Rózewicz's masterpiece The Trap, introduces Washington audiences to a theatrical genius of Samuel Beckett's stature. The Trap traces key elements in Franz Kafka's life, and Rózewicz's masterstroke is to weave the much darker future-the rise of Nazism, the death of Kafka's sisters' in the Holocaust, and the long Soviet occupation-with the troubled 'present' of Kafka's time.

NEW YORK… Demisch Danant is pleased to present Pierre Paulin: L'Homme Moderne a celebration of the prolific career of one of the most admired European designers of the 20th century. Opening today, May 12, 2015, the exhibition surveys Paulin's breakthroughs of the 1960s through early 1980s, and will showcase designs commissioned by the Mobilier National of France in a living environment inspired by Paulin's unique architecture. Featuring more than twenty exceptional works, including many never before exhibited publicly, L'Homme Moderne will provide a fresh look at Paul's full vision and contributions to modern design beyond the confines of Pop-inflected pieces for which he has until now been best known.

After a successful run of Tennessee Williams' A Streetcar Named Desire in January of this year, the newly formed Civic Rep theatre company is tackling one of Williams' lesser known and more experimental works, The Two-Character Play, for their second production.
